The Process of Joining

Firstly, you will need to get in touch with our lodges Secretary.

  • Our meetings are closed to Freemasons only. But you are invited to join us after for a coffee or beer. It’s a good opportunity to meet and chat with some of the members.
  • If you are interested in proceeding after this, you fill out a petition for membership. Signed by two members of the Lodge, don’t worry I can take care of that part.
  • An Investigation Committee will be appointed by the Lodge who will then meet with you to answer any questions you or your family may have.
  • The committee will make a report back to the Lodge and vote on you joining.
  • Once a favourable vote is returned. You will attend your first degree called the Entered Apprentice Degree.

It might sound a little complicated but its not. We’ll be happy to walk you through it all. We have attached some reading material that we send out to people interested in joining. There is also a cool series on Netflix called Inside the Freemasons. It’s an English show but will give you an idea of what we are all about.
